Pelagics on Parade in Palau
Palau, Snorkel Inn’s most recent dive tour destination, once again impressed and it’s easy to see why when you have three major ocean currents converging and bringing with them massive fish life.
Palau offered the Snorkel Inn tour great diving experiences including wall diving, drift dives and wreck dives. One of the highlights was the dive at Blue Corner where the divers hooked to the reef and watched the passing parade of big pelagics as they cruised along the rushing currents. Turtles were fearless, happily swimming with the divers as was a huge, huge giant wrasse whose size eclipsed the diver beside it.
The snorkelers on tour experienced crystal clear, warm waters and vibrant coral reefs teeming with an enormous variety of tropical fish.
All on tour got to experience the weird sensation of snorkelling the well known jelly fish lake (no stingers!!).
Specialist tour leader, John, made sure everyone had a great time. A kayaking experience topped off the underwater experiences.
Over 10 days the Snorkel Inn tour got to experience 12 incredible boat dives, snorkelling, swimming, lazing by the pool, kayaking, exploring the land which is littered with WWII relics and immersing themselves in a different culture.
