Vanuatu Reveals Its Secrets
Vanuatu’s sunken wrecks, thick jungle treks, hidden valleys, canyoning and crystal blue pools gave Snorkel Inn’s Dive Tour an adventure of a lifetime.
For 10 days Snorkel Inn’s group experienced fantastic in water and on land adventures. The highlight was their dives on the SS President Coolidge, arguably the best wreck dive in the Pacific. Starting at 20m with its stern at 70m this wreck offers something for every level of diver. Experienced divers dived into the ship’s pool and advanced divers checked out the ship’s promenade and cargo holds. Divers explored Million Dollar Point which is littered with $1million worth of American army hardware, gear the Americans did not want to take home (or leave for the locals) after WWII. Some of the gear included tanks, trucks, bikes etc.
The group also dived the USS Tucker, a Pearl Harbour survivor. Especially noteworthy for is stainless steel construction. And fun for diving with all its nooks and grannies for divers to explore.
